HOUSE 12

WEST LEEDERVILLE

This house has been designed as two linked vaulted roof pavilions built into a steeply sloping 850m2 site and takes advantage of the northern views across Lake Monger. The two large eucalyptus trees to the north were retained and incorporated into the design.

The two pavilions are orientated to an east-west axis, which provides maximum solar access. The "fragmented" pavilion form of this house also aids cross-ventilation and allows high levels of daylight to all rooms.
